The living space is the perfect place to watch the boats and yachts sailing in and out of the harbour. The spacious living and kitchen area has a comfortable lounge area with all ‘mod cons’. There is a flat screen TV, Freesat, DVD and HIFI in addition to unlimited WIFI broadband.

The modern kitchen is fully equipped with built in appliances and everything you require for your perfect self-catering holiday. A dining table is located right by the window so you can enjoy the sea view whilst enjoying breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Lots to see and do at the Isle of Whithorn

Isle of Whithorn Harbour, Newton Stewart, Dumfries and GallowayStep outside the front door and take a look around the charming harbour. Here you can enjoy fishing, walking, cycling or just sit, relax and gaze out to sea.

The award winning Steampacket Inn is within yards of our doorstep and offers delicious lunchtime and evening meals. Freshly landed seafood and locally sourced produce are available on their delicious menu. In addition to the enjoyable food the family-run inn also serves real ales and even has its own microbrewery. St Ninian’s Tearoom is a short stroll away and here you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea by the sea whilst enjoying harbour views. Both are dog friendly.

Explore by car or by foot

Isle of Whithorn, Dumfries and GallowayExplore the Isle of Whithorn by foot and discover the cairn, the ruins of St Ninian’s Chapel and the Isle of Whithorn Tower. From this headland there are spectacular sea views across to the Kirkcudbright Coast, Lake District and the Isle of Man. There are often sightings of seals, porpoises and dolphins and lots of sea birds. This is a unique viewpoint where you will want to stay and relax for hours.

There is so much to see and do locally both on foot and by car. Spend you days walking the cliff-paths and take in the dramatic views from the most southerly area in Scotland. Explore the secluded beaches which are simply stunning at any time of the year. Jump in the car and visit Wigtown which is known as Scotland’s book town. Whithorn is just over 3 miles away and is steeped in history being the site of the earliest Christian community in Scotland.
